Alex didn't start in real estate. He spent years in banking — building expertise in finance, analyzing risk, and understanding what makes a smart investment. Then Detroit started calling.
He saw what most people were overlooking: a city in the middle of a genuine comeback, with historic neighborhoods, world-class events, and a demand for quality short-term stays that nobody was serving at a high level. So he left banking, went all in on Detroit real estate, and built one of the largest short-term rental portfolios in the city from scratch.
Today, Great Stays manages 100+ properties across Detroit's most vibrant neighborhoods — Brush Park, Corktown, West Village, Midtown — plus 64 units in Ann Arbor through sister brand Stadium Suites.
